Logan Square

Neighborhood Description In the 1960s, after seeing their neighborhood deteriorate from over 30 years of declining populations and property neglect, residents of Logan Square formed the Logan Square Neighborhood Association. This group, which still exists today, started an initiative to restore old buildings, improve the housing conditions, and bolster community spirit in the area. One major success of this initiative was gaining landmark status for the neighborhood's boulevards (Logan, Kedzie, and Humboldt). These streets, still lined with large houses, lots of greenery, and an abundance of towering trees, were developed in the late 1800s to serve as a stretch of wide, green-filled roads for scenic carriage rides. While they don't exactly serve the same purpose today, these boulevards are some of the most beautiful streets in the city. iMove Chicago is your complete resource for Chicago apartments, lofts, condos, and homes in Logan Square.
