Panera in Lakeview Now "Pay What You Can"

Panera Bread's Lakview store is converting to a "pay what you can" location it was just announced. The store is located at 616 West Diversey.  This is the company's fourth such store nationwide and will be a great addition to Chicago. The concept is that those who can pay more do so and those who cannot pay at all can volunteer for an hour to eat for free. Surprisingly, the company said that the stores still manage to turn a profit.

We Love Panera for this concept. If you have a chance, stop by this location and say "thank you" by making a donation if you can. Or, if you know anyone who is struggling, and hungry, send them to Panera for a good meal.  The company says all will continue to receive the same Panera experience.
