Bike Chicago 2012

Bike Chicago 2012 encourages everyone to "bike it" as an alternative to driving, utilizing the City's world-class bike network. Here is what's on the radar for this years' Bike Chicago. Bike to Work Week - June 11-15, 2012 Various events to promote the culture of biking will be presented. Some ideas currently in the works include a movie in the park, Loop bike tour, a lecture on CDOT's exciting new plans to encourage cycling in 2012 and much more! Bike to Work Rally at Daley Plaza - Date: June 15, 2012 7:30 a.m. Take your bike to work! Join fellow cyclists, local media, cycling groups, Goose Island Beer Company and the city of Chicago on Daley Plaza. The festivities will celebrate biking and those riding their bikes to work will receive a FREE Bike T-Shirt, breakfast and can check their bikes at the Sierra Mist free Bike Valet
